Banderín con papel picado !

En México tenemos la bonita y colorida costumbre de celebrar el día de Muertos cada 02 de Noviembre, se monta un altar con diversos platos de comida, fruta, pan y veladoras porque se tiene la creencia que ese día las almas de los difuntos visitan el altar para disfrutar de los alimentos y bebidas que solían comer cuando estaban vivos, lo sé, esto puede sonar muy aterrador pero es una de las celebraciones antiguas que se sigue preservando a través de los años , tanto que ya es considerada patrimonio de la humanidad.
Se acostumbra adornar los altares con banderines de papel picado, en esta ocasión quiero compartir un sencillo banderín de papel picado que hice para decorar mi casa, solo que esta vez he usado colores más neutros generalmente estos papeles se usan en tonos alegres como el rojo, naranja amarillo etc. precisamente ayer hice algunos papeles picados de los colores tradicionales como parte de mi colaboración en la decoración de la escuela de Rod.
Practicamente se puede cortar cualquier tipo de papel, pero se recomienda usar papel de china o seda porque es más fácil de manejar.

In Mexico we have the beautiful and colorful custom of celebrating the Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) every November 2, mounts an altar with several plates of food, fruit, bread and candles because it is believed that this day the souls of the dead visit the altar to enjoy food and drinks that used to eat when they were alive, I know this may sound very scary but it is one of the oldest celebrations that are still preserved through the years and is considered as world heritage.
It is customary to decorate the altars with cut paper flags, this time I want to share a simple banner I made cut paper to decorate my house, only this time I used neutral colors these papers generally used in bright colors like red, orange yellow, only yesterday I chopped some papers of the traditional colors as part of my collaboration in the decoration of the school of Rod.
Practically you can cut any type of paper, but is recommended to use tissue paper because it is easier to handle.

Cortar un rectángulo del tamaño que quieras, en este caso estoy usando un rectángulo de 19 cms de ancho por 25 cms de largo, ese rectángulo se dobla a la mitad (ver foto)

Estas fotos muestran una forma más elaborada de cortar papel
